Cable assembly provider CiS electronic GmbH with strong first quarter 2020

CiS electronic GmbH in Krefeld with production sites in the Czech Republic and Romania grew significantly above the previous year in the 1st quarter of 2020.

In the first quarter of 2020, the revenues of CiS electronic GmbH grew by more than 20% compared to the previous year and thus again significantly stronger than the market. Although some customers saw a slight decline in autumn, CiS enjoyed strong demand right at the beginning of the year.

"I am pleased that we have made a very successful start to the new year in all areas of the CiS Group. We expect the effects of the "Corona crisis" in the second quarter. In Germany we are already feeling a slight cooling and uncertainty in the market, especially in the automation technology, automotive, aerospace and machine engineering sectors. In contrast, the medical technology and renewable energy sectors are developing quite positively.

Since CiS is very broadly based overall and covers all professional areas of data and power transmission, we will also endeavor to acquire new customers in order to mitigate the possible effects of the crisis. The further market development is currently extremely difficult to assess. In Romania, we have been feeling the effects of the shutdown of car manufacturers in our subsidiary CiS automotive SRL since April. Here, free capacities are currently available to the market," says Peter M. Wöllner, owner of the CiS Group.
