Recently conducted audits at the production locations of CiS automotive SRL in Copsa Mica and Axente Sever, Romania, were a complete success. Both locations fulfilled the requirements according to the new quality management standard IATF 16949:2016 for the automotive industry and ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and have received the relevant certificates. Wöllner, owner of the CiS Group. Implementation of the new rules replacing the earlier standard ISO/TS 16949 was not easy and some changes were necessary. This involved adjustments to ISO 9001:2015 and additional requirements of IATF 16949:2016. The challenge of a change in perspective, which necessitates a process-oriented approach in the company, was particularly exciting. Therefore, all locations of the CiS Group are now up-to-date to the current standard and have successfully implemented the new requirements.
