Gas Crisis: CiS Group Responds to the Current Situation

Russia's ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine continues to have serious implications for all of Europe and raises deep concerns for the future. Geopolitical upheaval is threatening the stability of energy and raw material supplies, and significant burdens on industry and private households are anticipated.

While the indirect consequences—such as disrupted supply chains and rising inflation—affect us all, CiS is not directly impacted by the crisis. None of our production facilities rely on gas for operations, and we are already working on implementing gas-free heating solutions at our sites, which are scheduled for rollout by the onset of winter, if feasible.

We also do not source any products from Ukraine or Russia and maintain no active business relationships with Russian entities. The CiS Group strictly complies with Council Regulation (EU) 2022/576, which amends Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 concerning restrictive measures in response to Russia's actions destabilizing Ukraine.

We remain in close contact with our suppliers and partners and have proactively implemented measures to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted production during these challenging times.

For over 45 years, CiS has prioritized fair, stable, and safe workplaces while remaining a dependable partner to both our employees and customers. All our sites are located in secure EU countries, where we have the capacity to deliver medium- and large-scale projects in cable assembly and system technology—both short- and long-term—with the highest quality standards. This commitment was reaffirmed in 2021 when CiS was once again named one of the world’s best employers, as confirmed by the WCA audit conducted by independent auditor Intertek in London.
