Kabelkonfektionär CiS electronic GmbH blickt auf ein erfolgreiches Jahr 2017 zurück

The CiS Group, which is based in Krefeld, Germany, and has manufacturing locations in the Czech Republic and Romania, is able to look back on a successful year of 2017. Along with the 20th anniversary of Czech subsidiary company CiS systems s.r.o., it was also able to celebrate some other significant achievements.

At almost 20%, the turnover of CiS electronic GmbH grew more quickly than the market average. Several customers exceeded their expectations regarding turnover, which created some major challenges in providing the required manufacturing capacity in the Czech Republic on time. For the first time since the founding of the company 20 years ago, filling the required unplanned job vacancies was only possible with delays. CiS continues to prioritise sustainable growth in every area, and is making detailed preparations for the industrial changes that are expected to take place in the next decade.

In Romania, it proved possible to further the expertise in the area of mass production for the automotive industry and for industrial areas with large series volumes. It was also possible to gain a new customer, who placed a very interesting order in the area of battery management for electric mobility. It was not possible to make 100% use of the existing capacity, however, since the follow-up orders from one major customer arrived behind schedule.

“We are proud that the CiS family now has more than 1,000 employees. Last year brought challenges for the whole of the CiS team, but above all else, it was successful and eventful. I therefore want to start by thanking every employee for the significant commitment they demonstrated during their daily work, and in particular, to thank our customers for their loyalty and their partnership-based collaboration,” explained Peter M. Wöllner, owner of the CiS Group.
