Cable assembler and system provider CiS takes over the activities of Zabel Technik GmbH

The CiS Group with headquarters in Krefeld and production sites in Germany, the Czech Republic and Romania took over the activities of Zabel Technik GmbH as of March 01, 2022 in the form of an asset deal and expands its product portfolio. The acquisition of the activities of Zabel Technik GmbH represents the consistent implementation of the CiS corporate iSpeed strategy. The Zabel products, such as input systems: Membrane Keyboards, Displays, Safety Mats and Touch Pads, are a perfect addition to the CiS product portfolio.

"We are very pleased that we, as a medium-sized Krefeld company, may continue the life's work built up by Mr. Klaus Zabel and his team over almost 50 years. The CiS Group can thus meaningfully expand and add to its resources and expertise in the field of development and sales of customized products, injection molding and, above all, the product portfolio for its own customers.

We also thank Mr. Zabel for his great trust and wish him already today a pleasant and healthy retirement. It is good to know that he will continue to advise us with his wealth of experience," says Peter M. Wöllner, owner of the CiS Group.

For the business partners, whether customer or supplier, not much will change. The newly founded Zabel Technik GmbH & Co.KG will take over the entire location in Krefeld, with all employees, as well as machines, materials, suppliers and customers and the entire experience and great know-how.

"I have known Mr. Wöllner and CiS for many years. After now 49 years of Zabel history, it was now time for me to retire. Unfortunately, there was no one from the family to succeed me, so we looked for a suitable company for this purpose. I am pleased that we have found a successor in CiS electronic GmbH, a company that is specialized in customer-specific products and where "customer satisfaction" has the same priority as it does for us," says Klaus Zabel, owner of Zabel Technik GmbH.
