he CiS Group, headquartered in Krefeld with production sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Romania, acquired the operations of Zabel Technik GmbH effective March 1, 2022, through an asset deal—marking a significant expansion of its product portfolio. This acquisition aligns with the strategic implementation of CiS’s corporate iSpeed strategy. Zabel’s input systems—such as membrane keyboards, displays, safety mats, and touchpads—are a perfect complement to the existing CiS portfolio.

“We are very pleased to be continuing the life’s work of Mr. Klaus Zabel and his team, who have built an impressive legacy over nearly 50 years. As a medium-sized company based in Krefeld, the CiS Group is now expanding its capabilities in development, sales of customized products, injection molding, and value-added services for our customers,” says Peter M. For business partners, whether customers or suppliers, very little will change. The newly formed Zabel Technik GmbH & Co. KG will take over the entire Krefeld location—including all employees, machinery, materials, and the full spectrum of supplier and customer relationships—ensuring continuity and expertise.
