Corporate Social Responsibility

CiS Group is dedicated to acting sustainably and responsibly. Through initiatives like our support for Plan International, we promote children's education in developing countries and ensure medical care for blind children and adults through partnerships with organizations such as Andheri Aid. Locally, CiS supports schools, kindergartens, and cultural initiatives, actively contributing to the development of the communities in which we operate.

Since 2016, CiS Group has actively participated in the newly founded aid organization ‘Economy for People’ by the Senate of Economy. The ‘El Arranque’ aid project in Buenos Aires, initiated by Pope Francis, aims to provide young people with better future prospects and Christian values. In the Czech Republic, we supported the Czech-German friendship seminar ‘Strength from Roots’ for many years, held at Villa Klinger, provided by CiS managing directors Doris and Peter M. Wöllner. Additionally, we have long supported the promotion of the German language in Czech schools in the Liberec region, in cooperation with the Goethe Institute, as Germany remains the Czech Republic’s largest and most important economic partner. To expand and strengthen our employees’ knowledge, we offer the CiS Academy e-learning platform for personalized training programs.

Our actions are defined by clarity and strong values. The CiS Group Code of Ethics & Conduct provides employees and partners with clear guidance and security. Integrity, honesty, and fairness form the foundation of our corporate culture. We are committed to a non-discriminatory, healthy work environment and actively promote harmony and dialogue among employees across different locations and nationalities.

As a UN Global Compact member since May 2014, CiS is dedicated to actively supporting its ten principles in human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption, integrating them into our corporate strategy. Our progress reports are fully transparent and accessible on the UN Global Compact website, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices. CiS Group embraces sustainable business practices to contribute to a healthier climate. As the first climate-neutral cable assembly company, we offset all CO₂ emissions from our German sites through a certified reforestation project within the ‘World Forest Climate Initiative’ led by the Senate of the Economy. This underscores our commitment to a sustainable future.
