Krefeld, 7 August 2025 – The CiS Group has successfully submitted its progress report to the United Nations Global Compact, thereby remaining an active member of the world’s largest initiative for responsible corporate governance. Since May 2014, the CiS Group has been committed to the ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption, and has consistently integrated them into its corporate strategy.
“Our renewed listing as an active member is a clear commitment to value-based, sustainable, and transparent corporate governance,” explains Doris Wöllner, CSR Officer of the CiS Group. “We do not see sustainability as an option, but as a corporate duty towards future generations.”
The CiS Group’s progress reports are publicly available on the UN Global Compact platform and provide a transparent insight into the wide range of measures and projects in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. These include, among other things, certified environmental management in accordance with ISO 14001, as well as extensive social initiatives to promote education and equal opportunities.
As a medium-sized family business, the CiS Group places particular importance on social responsibility both locally and internationally. The company has already received multiple awards for its excellent working conditions and, according to the WCA audit by the Intertek Group, ranks among the best employers worldwide.
“Responsible business starts with a clear set of values and continues in every area of our actions – from the way we treat our employees to the environmentally sound design of our production processes,” says Peter M. Wöllner, CEO of the CiS Group.
With the renewed confirmation of its active membership in the UN Global Compact, CiS electronic GmbH underscores its position as a responsible partner in connectivity and systems technology – regionally rooted, internationally committed.
