We were deeply dismayed and felt powerless as we witnessed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This ruthless act will cost many lives and destroy countless livelihoods.

Our thoughts are with the millions affected by this crisis. As a European family-owned business, we stand by the principles of the United Nations Charter and hope for an immediate end to the war.

The consequences of this tragedy are now forcing many companies that operate directly or indirectly in Ukraine to make rapid decisions: How can the lives of affected employees be protected? How can critical production be relocated to a safe country—ideally, with a partner?

The CiS Group has many years of experience in production relocation and can quickly take on medium and large-scale cable assembly projects. In close cooperation with local communities, we are able to arrange housing and, in some cases, childcare for workers and their children willing to relocate to Romania or the Czech Republic, where we also offer employment opportunities. Both countries currently grant temporary work permits to refugees from Ukraine,” says Peter M. Wöllner, Managing Partner of the CiS Group.
