At CiS, the cable assembler, system technology, and mechatronics provider headquartered in Krefeld with production sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Romania, Mr. Roland Lorenz is celebrating his 45th work anniversary – a milestone unmatched in CiS’s history!

Mr. Lorenz’s journey at CiS began on August 22, 1977. Starting out with a multifaceted role covering purchasing, sales, technology, costing, and production, he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future. As CiS grew steadily over the years, Mr. Lorenz built up the production department as Technical Plant Manager. Following the Czech Republic’s accession to the European Union in 2004, production operations gradually shifted to the Czech Republic. Mr. Lorenz transitioned into sales management, where he successfully mentored many young sales professionals from training through to leadership roles. Even today, he continues to contribute his expertise part-time in sales.
