At CiS, the cable assembler, system technology and mechatronics provider with headquarters in Krefeld and production sites in Germany, the Czech Republic and Romania, Mr. Roland Lorenz is celebrating his 45th company anniversary - something that has never happened before in the history of CiS!

August 22, 1977 was Mr. Roland Lorenz's first day at CiS. This is where his career began as purchasing, sales, technology, costing and production manager in one person. CiS then grew slowly and steadily and Mr. Lorenz built up production as technical plant manager. After the Czech Republic joined the European Union on January 1, 2004, production was increasingly relocated to the Czech Republic and Mr. Lorenz gradually took over the sales management. He has successfully developed and accompanied many young CiS sales staff from training to management and even today he still provides part-time support in sales.
