On Wednesday, 26.04.2023, Martin Wöllner had a very special day as a representative of the CiS Group. The Managing Director CSO of CiS electronic GmbH was invited to a brief meeting with the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, and his wife Eva Pavlová in the town hall of Nové Město p.S.

The CiS Group from Krefeld is a supplier of cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies and HMI. The Czech subsidiary, CiS systems s.r.o., has been based in Nové Město p.S. since 1997 and is now the largest employer in the region. Over 1,800 different customer-specific solutions in the field of cable assembly and electromechanical assemblies are produced here every week.

The cities of Krefeld and Nové Město p.S. are historically linked by the rise and fall of the textile industry. Martin Wöllner presented the President with a silk tie from the over 100-year-old textile company Alpi as a greeting from the textile and silk city of Krefeld.

“The President was delighted to hear about our commitment to the region and the rescue of the Villa Klinger. As a thank you, the President presented Martin Wöllner with a photo book of the Presidential Villa in Prague. After more than 25 years of development work in the region, the President's visit was a great honor for us,” said Martin Wöllner, CSO of CiS electronic GmbH.
