On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, Martin Wöllner had the honor of representing the CiS Group on a special occasion. The Managing Director CSO of CiS electronic GmbH was invited to a brief meeting with President Petr Pavel of the Czech Republic and his wife, Eva Pavlová, at the town hall of Nové Město p.S.

The CiS Group, based in Krefeld, is a leading supplier of cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, and HMI solutions. Its Czech subsidiary, CiS systems s.r.o., has been headquartered in Nové Město p.S. since 1997 and is now the region’s largest employer. More than 1,800 customer-specific solutions are produced there weekly.

The cities of Krefeld and Nové Město p.S. share a historical bond through the textile industry. As a symbol of this connection, Martin Wöllner presented President Pavel with a silk tie from Alpi, a textile company with over 100 years of tradition in Krefeld.

“President Pavel was pleased to hear about our commitment to the region and our restoration of the Villa Klinger. As a token of appreciation, he presented me with a photo book of the Presidential Villa in Prague. After more than 25 years of development work in the region, the President's visit was a great honor for us,” said Martin Wöllner, CSO of CiS electronic GmbH.
