Cable assembler CiS electronic GmbH looks back on a successful 2020

The CiS Group, with its headquarters in Krefeld and production sites in the Czech Republic and Romania, looks back on its successful 45th anniversary year in 2020 and is optimistic about the future.
We were actually planning to celebrate the 45th anniversary of CiS in the wonderful setting of the park of Villa Klinger in Nové Město p. S. in the Czech Republic together with our staff and business friends. Unfortunately, however, the coronavirus pandemic put paid to those plans.

We would have had every reason to celebrate 45 predominantly successful years with continuous growth and excellent business performance.

We are particularly proud of the fact that today more than 1,000 employees with a secure job are part of the CiS family. I would therefore like to thank all our customers and business partners for their great trust and the successful and cooperative partnership, which in some cases has lasted for many decades.
A special thank you goes to our staff and management, who made this success possible and showed enormous commitment in these difficult times, sometimes around the clock and at weekends and during holidays. It's nice to see that both customers and employees have remained loyal to us through ups and downs from our foundation right up to the present day.

We had to cope with huge challenges due to coronavirus. Border closures suddenly locked out more than a hundred Polish employees in the Czech Republic, there was a temporary standstill in the automotive sector, many customers switched to short-time working, while others saw a decline in sales; in the medical technology sector in particular, we were able to help our customers meet the global demand for life-supporting medical devices. Although we were not quite able to achieve our planned targets, sales of the CiS Group grew by approx. 16% for its 45th anniversary in 2020 and hence again significantly ahead of the market.

It is precisely for this time when changes are accelerating that we have prepared ourselves well with our iSpeed strategy in recent years. CiS continues to focus on sustainable growth in all areas and is making major preparations for the expected industrial changes in the current decade. We are again planning further growth and the creation of additional jobs with strategically selected customers and markets for 2021," says Peter M. Wöllner, owner of the CiS Group.

The CiS-iSpeed strategy is intended to make CiS the fastest and most reliable cable assembler and system provider from the perspective of its customers.

As a recognised brand assembler and system provider, CiS focuses on sustainable concepts, quality, speed and reliability to order to serve its customers. From the point of view of these customers, CiS is now one of the best in the market. Customers particularly appreciate CiS' active contribution to their "total cost of ownership" and hence increased support for their competitiveness. In 2019, CiS was again among the best employers in the world according to the WCA audit by auditor Intertek, London.
